Resin Driveways in Shrewsbury
and Telford

Resin is an attractive, hard-wearing and low-maintenance option for your driveway. If you love the look of gravel but don’t want to deal with the issues of loose stones, resin is the perfect solution. Resin driveways combine aggregates with resin, resulting in a surface which looks like gravel, but the stones are stuck in place.

Customers in Telford, Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas can call Tri Pave Construction Ltd for both resin-bound and resin-bonded driveways. Whichever you choose, we provide full installation, covering design and planning, removal of old materials, sub-base services, drainage and laying the surface, as well as any other required work.

All resin driveways are customisable. You can choose the type, size and colour of the aggregate to create your desired look. We also work with both epoxy and polyester resin.

Resin-Bound Driveways

Resin-bound driveways are constructed by mixing the resin and aggregate together before laying it. This creates a flat and permeable surface which allows water to drain through. Consequently, if laid on a permeable base, resin-bound driveways are SuDS compliant.

Resin-Bonded Driveways

With resin-bonded driveways, the resin is laid first and the aggregate is then scattered on top. Most of the aggregate will stick to the resin, but there will be some loose stones, giving a closer appearance to gravel. However, the complete layer of resin means water cannot pass through, so additional drainage is required.

Benefits of Resin Driveways

If you are considering installing a resin driveway, you no doubt want to know about the benefits this material offers. Both resin-bound and resin-bonded driveways are popular for the following reasons:

Furthermore, because the aggregate is not loose, you do not have to worry about stones becoming displaced or getting stuck in tyres or shoes and transferred into the house. This means, unlike with a gravel driveway, you will not have to keep topping up the aggregate. With resin-bonded driveways, there can be some transfer, but this is very minimal.

In addition, resin driveways are flexible in design, allowing us to create driveways in various shapes and sizes, as well as different colours. Tri Pave Construction Ltd works with customers in Telford, Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas to design the perfect driveway for each home. We also install tarmac driveways and block paving driveways.

Another benefit of resin-bound driveways is that they do not require an additional drainage system, which can save a bit of time and money.
